Many people see makeup as simple Art because a lot of women in our society now wear makeup daily and this makes them to think that the Art of makeup is simple. Makeup is a thing that is born out of genuine creativity because it is not easy to apply different colours on your face to make you look beautiful. It takes a lot of time and effort to master this Art as it requires dedication and patience just like other Art works. Here on this forum we shall look at  makeup as an Art, Makeup as a pure creativity, tools used in makeup and what you can achieve as a makeup artist.

Makeup as an Art:- A lot of people have doubt about this, whether to call makeup an Art or not. Makeup in the middle age was not value for what it is as many people see it as an attempt to change who you are to who you want to be, but nowadays in this modern age, people begin to see makeup as an Art which it is, through some great makeup artist work in movies and T.V show. Makeup is consider to be an  Art because it can be use to pass information about a situation, to tell a story, to create an awareness about a cause or could be just pure art of creativity.

 Makeup is not all about applying mascara and  a smudge of lipstick as some people portray it to be or just a tool to enhance beauty. Makeup is more than that as it can be use for expression or to pass information or tell a story, just like in nowadays movies and shows. Just as a painter uses brush and paint to create a unique portrait or photographer with his camera ready to capture an exciting image, makeup is just like all these Art work, with your eye-shadow, eye pencil,lipstick, blushes, brushes and other instrument as a makeup artist, you are ready to tell a story or create a unique Art that has never been seen before. Makeup as a pure creativity:- It is possible to attain pure creativity, when the mind is not confined but completely free. Although it is difficult for other minds that are confined to recognise or appreciate and enjoy pure creativity. Makeup not only give you the power to enhance a feature of your face but also serve as a tool of pure creativity. Pure creativity can be attain when you have an open mind as a makeup artist. Tools used in makeup

               There are a lot tools used in makeup only few of them will be discuss on this forum.

(1)  Multi Task Brush:- It is very important as a makeup artist to have a multi-task brush, from the list of limited high-quality makeup you already have. This multi-task brush can be use for concealer, lip colour, eyeliner and so on. Example of this brush is Karma multi task brush.

(2) Finishing Brush:- As a makeup artist, you are to have a finishing brush. It is use for applying blush,foundation or powder. Hourglass finishing brush is the best for this job created from high quality synthetic fibers.

(3) Eyelash Curler:- For perfectly made eyelash, eyelash curler is a must for you as a professional makeup artist. This eyelash curler is very important to every makeup artist. It brings out the beauty of your work as a makeup artist.

(4) Wedge Sponges :- This tools is very useful to all professional makeup as it is unprofessional to use fingertips to apply your liquid foundation. As a makeup pro artist use a smooth wedge makeup sponge. There are two types of wedge sponge, we have big and small wedge sponge. The big wedge sponge is used all over the face while the small one can be use around the nose and mouth.

(5) Cotton Swabs :- This tools is very important as it performs all kind of purpose. It can be use for mascara smudges, to clean up nail polish mistakes, to apply eye-shadow, eyeliner or concealer. This tools is one of those tools women can't do without because of It multi- purpose ability.

(6) Eye-shadow Applicators :- Eye-shadow can be apply using a eye-shadow brush or sponge tip eye-shadow applicators. It is advisable to have a large professional grade applicator to the smaller one. We also advise you to use sponge-tip eye-shadow applicator, If you find it difficult to apply eye-shadow with a brush.

(7) Eyebrow Stencils :- It is very difficult to get the perfect eyebrow every now and then but to make it easy for you as a professional makeup artist use eyebrow stencils to get the perfect eyebrow.

What you can achieve as a makeup artist

As a makeup artist, you can achieve a lot of things but only few will be discuss here as the rest of it will be discover by you.

(1) Career :- Gone are those days when makeup is seen as a play thing, you can make a career for yourself in the field but you will need to master the art as it is not done overnight. It takes time and focus to develop the right set of skills. A lot of artists have make a career for themselves in the field such artists include @gina.makeup making name for herself on Instagram at just 18 years of age, other artists include Robin Black, Mylah Morales and Mario Dedivanovic have make a great career for themselves in makeup as they are personal makeup artist to Pop star Rihanna and Kim Kardashian.

(2) Makeup turns artist to celebrity :- As a makeup artist, you are a potential celebrity. Makeup artists like Vincent Oquendo and Mylah Morales became celebrity by doing makeup for models and Pop stars and other well known individual. It is because of their great work, people began to recognise them and they were introduced to a different world beyond their imagination.
